I chose this small binding machine because my family are big greeting card givers and I like to hold on to mine as keepsakes and I want to start binding them into little look-books.I love that this does both round and square holes, so I can change up the look of my books. It’s a really convenient size, 20cm x 14cm and only 8cm high, so this doesn’t take up too much shelf space either. But it is pretty heavy weighing in at just over a kilo.I really like that this can do 10 sheets at once, but also has the capacity to do card (which is what I’m using it for primarily). This punches perfectly clean holes with no torn or frayed edging either - amazingly good! It’s not cheap, but I look at it like an investment and because of the versatility of it being able to do A6 through to A4, I won’t ever have to replace it.Highly recommend this.

I absolutely love this binding machine. It’s honestly inspired me to start making my own notebooks and desk calendars, and I’ve been using it far more than I expected. The pink colour is gorgeous and looks really nice on my desk—it’s one of those tools you don’t feel the need to hide away. It’s also a great size, not too bulky, and the weight helps keep it steady while using it, but it’s still easy enough to move around and store. It handles a variety of materials really well. I’ve used it on standard paper, photo paper, and thicker cardstock without any issues. I did try pushing it to around 15 sheets of normal printer paper, and while it managed it, it was definitely a bit tough—so I now stick closer to the recommended limits for smoother use.I really like that it comes with both wire spines and disc bindings, so you can try out different styles straight away. It’s a great way to see what works best for different projects.I’m still getting the hang of closing the bindings neatly, but that’s more of a learning curve than a fault with the machine.Overall, a fantastic little machine that’s easy to use, versatile, and genuinely inspiring if you enjoy crafting or creating your own stationery.

I found this binding machine to be a convenient option for small projects and occasional use. The 2-in-1 functionality with interchangeable heads adds flexibility, allowing both discbound and wire binding without needing separate tools. It handles up to 10 sheets at a time, which is suitable for personal or light office tasks, though it can feel a bit slow for larger jobs. The punching mechanism works well overall, but requires a firm, steady press for clean results. The included discs and covers are a useful bonus, making it ready to use straight out of the box. The compact size and lightweight design also make it easy to store or move around.Build quality is decent for its size, though it feels more suited to occasional use rather than heavy-duty workloads. Overall, a practical and versatile choice for basic binding needs.

I have always wanted a binding machine but found most were too big and bulky. This binding machine is only 5.5" x 7.5" made of a plastic casing and metal components which means you can easily store away neatly. The machine might be small but it still weighs just over 1.5 kg and does not slip around the desk when you are using. The binding machine has a plug in cassette for the type of holes you need. In this case there were two options, round and square holes. The cassettes can be changed in seconds. Both cassettes had sharp punches and made clean holes in 14 notebook pages. The beauty of this machine is its ability to use wire combs with a rack to hold the wire while you place your paper on the wire and then using the back rack you can easily close the wire to an even size. This closing function is limited to a 1" open comb but that should not impact my making of small notebooks. I use a regular six hole punch weekly and this is an excellent replacement for that and excellent for my needs. If I was binding a lot of bigger pages It would get a bit tedious even with the guidance lock to punch each set of pages multiple times.

FAQs

Please read our FAQ page to learn more.

1. Why should I choose a MUNBYN thermal printer instead of an inkjet or laser printer?

MUNBYN uses advanced thermal printing technology, which means: no ink, no toner, and no ribbons. All you need are thermal labels. This not only saves you hundreds of dollars annually on supply costs but also spares you the mess of leaking cartridges and the frustration of running out of ink in the middle of a shipping process.

2. Can I use thermal labels of any brand with this printer?

Yes! MUNBYN printers are compatible with all thermal direct labels. Whether you prefer fanfold or roll labels, as long as the width is between 1.57" and 4.3" (40 mm – 110 mm), our thermal printer will automatically detect and calibrate to them.

3. Which shipping platforms and marketplaces are compatible?

MUNBYN is a favorite among small business owners. MUNBYN label printers are fully compatible with major platforms, including:

  • Marketplaces: Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Shopify, Zalando, and Shopee.
  • Couriers: UPS, FedEx, ShipStation, Pirate Ship, USPS, and DHL.

4. What labels can I use with this printer?

Our thermal label printers support a wide range of direct thermal labels including 4x6" shipping labels, 3x2" and 2x1" labels, barcode labels, round labels, and custom sticker sizes (40–110 mm wide, depending on the model). The printer automatically identifies the label size—no manual calibration required.

5. Is this label printer easy to set up?

Yes. The label printer is designed for quick setup; step-by-step installation guides and driver downloads are available. Most users can complete the installation in a matter of minutes.

6. How do I calibrate the printer for different label sizes?

Our intelligent automatic label recognition does the work for you. Insert your labels, hold down the top button until you hear a single beep – and the printer automatically adjusts label size and spacing to ensure perfect alignment.

7. What should I do if my labels are printing blurry or with white streaks?

High-quality print results start with a clean print head. If print quality declines:

  1. Turn off the printer and let it cool down.
  2. Wipe the thermal print head with an alcohol swab or a microfiber cloth.
  3. Adjust the print density and print speed settings in the driver settings.

If the problem persists, please contact customer support for further assistance.

8. Does this label printer come with a warranty?

Yes, all MUNBYN printers come with a 2-year warranty. We stand behind our hardware and will provide a replacement device or perform a repair if you encounter any manufacturing defects.

9. Can I use the label printer for both business and home organization?

Yes. You can use this printer for both business labeling (shipping, barcodes, inventory, retail labels) and home organization (storage labels, pantry labels, files, craft projects). Thanks to its versatile direct thermal printing method and support for numerous label sizes, it is suitable for a wide range of private and professional applications.

10. Are there customization options for labels?

Yes, we offer flexible options for customizing labels – including stickers, logo labels, and creative templates for your branding. Order custom labels here.
