FAQs
Are MUNBYN thermal printer labels compatible with all thermal printers?
Yes. Our labels are compatible with most direct thermal printers, including MUNBYN, Rollo, Zebra, DYMO 4XL (in fanfold format only) and other 4x6 label printers.
Do thermal direct labels need ink or toner?
No ink or toner is required. Thermal labels are heat-activated and work exclusively with direct thermal printers.
What sizes are thermal labels available in?
We offer various formats, including 4×6", 3×2", 2×1", 2×2", round labels, and special formats for shipping, barcodes, branding, or organization.
Are the labels waterproof and smudge-proof?
Yes. Most MUNBYN labels are waterproof, oil-proof, and scratch-resistant, keeping your prints clear and durable.
Can thermal labels be used outdoors?
Yes. Our premium labels are light and heat resistant and will not fade. For long-term outdoor use, we recommend waterproof or extra durable labels.
Can I print MUNBYN labels in color?
Thermal direct printing is only possible in black. However, the two-color labels of the 405B series support printing in black as well as red or blue. We also offer colored labels to strengthen branding without color printing.
Can I use MUNBYN labels for branding and packaging?
Absolutely. Our labels are ideal for logo stickers, product labels, ingredient lists, QR codes, and thank-you stickers.
Are thermal labels BPA-free?
Yes, most MUNBYN labels are BPA-free. The materials are safe for daily use and commercial applications.
Are thermal labels environmentally friendly?
Thermal direct labels do not use ink, toner, or plastic cartridges. We also offer environmentally friendly kraft paper labels and recyclable packaging.
What is the difference between roll labels and fanfold labels?
Roll labels are inserted into label holders or printers with roll slots.
Fanfold labels are placed behind the printer and automatically fed, which means they curl less. Both printer types deliver the same print result – simply choose the type that is suitable for your configuration.
Can I order custom-made items or special sizes?
Yes. We offer custom label sizes, shapes, colors, and branding prints—ideal for businesses and private labels.
