This Munbyn Tattoo Stencil Printer isnt classed as a true commercial tattoo printer. Why? Ive seen models that are 5 times the size and three times the price that dont work as well. Its not just small its pocket sized, well you might have to have deep pockets, but you get the idea! Its barely wider than a sheet of A4.
Not everything was plain sailing though. Although the app was easy to download and install it was a bit tricky to get used to. I like to think that Im computer savvy and found using the app wasnt exactly intuitive. I wonder how someone technologically challenged would fair? Although Munbyn make a point of mentioning that the printers Bluetooth isnt compatible with PCs, I wonder why? Not a great problem for me, but it might be for some. Munbyn say their ITP01 can be used with a phone, but I found the phones screen too small to use effectively. Although it works, its just too fiddly and an iPad is so much easier.
This is a beautifully engineered piece of equipment. Its made with quality materials to a high specification. It looks sleek and is very well finished.
I know I had a niggle or two above, but thats all they were, niggles. Overall this Munbyn ITP05 is a game changer and the advantages far outweigh the niggles. Its a self contained printer-completely wireless. It can be operated remotely. The result is a very clear precise stencil. And all of this is packed in a tiny machine.
